We took the decision to not welcome other people’s pets because we realise there are many guests who are seeking a peaceful respite, avoiding dogs, noise or concerns around allergies and phobias. Because Acorn Glade is a site of ecological interest, dogs, being dogs, may disturb passing wildlife. The animals that choose to make this little haven their home is our priority and part of our dog- free policy. This enables guests to enjoy the natural ambience immersed in nature and observing creatures in their natural habitat undisturbed. As all dog owners know, dogs who are brought to somewhere new can be stressful for them and they need time, reassurance and may cause potential incidents with aggressive or unpredictable behaviour.
