WHAT TO PACK:

 

Please ensure you bring:

 

* Your food (remember this is self-catering) however, please see our extras            page,  maybe you would like to pre-order your breakfast or a delicious afternoon tea that will be delivered on the day of your choice.

* warm clothing/layers with a waterproof (it can get chilly at night in the winter )

* a couple of cosy rugs for sitting out around the fire pit

* wellingtons (in case the grounds are wet because of rain)

* a torch (especially if you wish to walk back from the pub at night)

* a spare tea towel & towels (towels can be hired if you wish)

* note: all bed linen is provided for all accommodation

* fish bait (if you are planning on buying a day fishing pass)

* a good book (reminder that we have no wifi) we have a library though.

* an open mind (if you are a first time glamper)

and finally, a sense of adventure!

Guest Arrival Information:

* Guest arrival checkin time is between 4pm – 7pm on Monday, Wednesday or Friday

* Please let us know your estimated arrival time prior to arrival via email or phone 01759319151

* Upon arrival at Acorn Glade (you will see the sign outside the gate), please close it behind you and drive down the gravel driveway for approx. 30 metres and turn left into the car park outside the Chicken Shed (this is our kitchen and washroom amenity block)

* Please then look for the board with our number and we will be along shortly to welcome you to your accommodation

* If you think you may arrive after 7pm please call us beforehand agreeing an estimated time of arrival, so we can ensure there is a member of staff to welcome you.

* We are unable to accept arrivals after 10pm so as not to disturb our other guests

THE 'CHICKEN SHED':

* For cooking of all meals and snacks, you can use the well-equipped communal kitchen 'The Chicken Shed', where there are gas hobs, kettle, fridges and a microwave, including pots & pans and cutlery and crockery you will need.

The Chicken Shed is open 24/7 with automatic eco lighting.

* For fire & safety reasons, guests are not permitted to cook inside their accommodation or use their own foil BBQs, please use ours.

* You can dine in the Roost lounge or there are plenty of seating areas either on the veranda or in the covered gazebo near the  BBQ (charcoal and lighter can be purchased). There is a portable pizza oven that can be used on the  BBQ.

* Everyone has access to the communal toilets and showers which are less than 50 metres from each accommodation unit. Daisy roundhouse and Bluebell Lodge have their own private toilets.

* The Chicken Shed kitchen, Roost, showers and toilets are open 24/7  all with automatic eco lighting at night.
